Sitter och skriver en artikel som till viss del handlar om huruvida ryssar och bulgarer kan vara coola, tuffa, liksom. Och plötsligt får jag möjlighet att tjuvlyssna till följande telefonsamtal från min arbetsplats på Hotel Anglais:
"Hey there. Yep, I'm in Stockholm. You know, the people here are way cooler than LA people, this is Europe, man. They're not fake or anything. But it's cold, man. I'm staying at Angeles hotel. No, not Los Angeles hotel, Anglais. I'm fine with it - sure, it's just that it's cold. Just want to mention it. It's cold. And the people are cool. Don't give my number to anyone."
